Cronin’s a family run business have been providing comfort, quality and memorable journeys since 1957. Just recently they were awarded Coach Operator of the Year, recognising the quality and standard they strive to provide.
Although their reputation is very good and the quality of coaches and service is exceptional, their brand was very dated and inconsistent and certainly didn’t reflect this. As part of a group of other companies we wanted to bring them all together to show the full scope of their business and build a much more connected visual image. We also wanted to make a statement that while Cronin’s have been around for a long time, they’re not afraid to change with the times. We wanted something clean and strong and introduced a colour convention for their sweet of logos that could be then used throughout any marketing material as a simple graphical differentiator.
The logo we came up with was simple, sharp and bright. The logo sits on all the buses/cars in their fleet so we wanted something simple, contemporary and striking so people would begin to recognise it and that it more reflects Cronins quality. While this is probably the main visual opportunity for people to see the logo, it still needed to work just as well on stationery, pin badges, powerpoint presentations etc.
With the brand changing, we also looked at the various websites. We wanted to bring the sites much more inline with each other so people would realise the companies were related and give the impression of a much bigger company. The sites were broken up with striking big images and regular call to actions.Integrating the booking form with their back office system helped to streamline enquiries and kept the booking forms as clean as possible to increase the volume of customers booking/inquiring through the websites.
