Keith asked us last year to get involved and help out. As we love a challenge we couldn’t ‘weight’ to get involved! Keith is known to RTE viewers from the TV series Operation Transformation, on which he appeared in the first series.
The Downsized Fashion Show took place at the Silversprings Hotel last September, with the event’s proceeds going to the Children’s Leukemia Association at the Mercy Hospital and St Mary’s on the Hill Primary School, Knocknaheeny.
Ireland’s answer to Gok Wan, Brendan Courtney from RTE’s Off the rails played host and tied together a great day. With stalls ranging from make up and hair to jewellery, and dance groups to keep the crowd entertained the day went off without a hitch and everything went to plan!
We we’re delighted to be asked back to help out with the 2011 show which will be held in Rochestown Park Hotel, this may. After our experience with the last show, we’re going bigger and better this year! Keep an eye out for more details on the show and the new website for downsized.ie, which will be going live shortly!
We’ve received a bundle of joy from our friends at happynappycakes.ie ! The sleepsuits don’t fit, but we had fun trying to get into them. We’ve also improved production now, since we can stay at our desks longer, thanks to those super absorbant nappies.February 1, 2011
