Celtic Pure started from humble beginnings, but the brand is now the largest independently owned brand and offers a complete range of bottled water to the retail, food service and wholesale sectors. We were commissioned to design and build their website, they were very adamant that they wanted something different and to stand out from the crowd. The main focus was to highlight that the water came from a natural spring in the Drumlin Hills. Our approach was to use this to create a unique experience when arriving at the site. Rather than simply show bottles of water, when a user arrives at the site, water pours from a bottle into the natural spring and leads you down to the navigation made up of various items positioned in the hills. The text content was then clean and simple so not to over complicate the website and keep the content easy to navigate through.
As the feel for the site was Natural and real, we wanted the site to be the same. As we had used the visual of the hills as the main focal point, we thought it would be a good idea for the site to switch between day and night depending on the time you visited the site, building on the natural quality of the spring water and ethos of the company.
